Firestone, part of the world’s largest manufacturer of truck tires
Offering the best quality, service, and technology: that has been Bridgestone’s mission since its founding in 1931. In the 1980s, Firestone Tire & Rubber (also known as Firestone) was acquired by the Bridgestone Corporation.
The story of Firestone Tire & Rubber is also remarkable: in 1900, at the age of 31, Harvey S. Firestone invented a new technique for the large-scale production of automobile tires. In 1906, he achieved his first major success when he was commissioned to equip Henry Ford’s mass-produced cars with Firestone tires.
Firestone Truck Tires
Just like all major brands, safety and quality are top priorities at Bridgestone, of which Firestone is a part. That’s why Mijnheer Truck Banden is a supplier of both Bridgestone and Firestone tires.
As mentioned, Bridgestone is the world’s largest manufacturer of truck tires. You’ll find the right tire for every type of transport in Bridgestone’s lineup. The same applies to Firestone, which, as noted, is part of Bridgestone.
Whether you’re transporting goods or passengers, driving short or long distances, or driving on- or off-road: you’ll find the right tire—one that’s high-quality and long-lasting—in the Firestone lineup. It’s no coincidence that at Mijnheer Truck Banden, we regularly recommend Firestone tires to both small independent operators and large transportation companies.
